Where it all started…

As most things do, it all started with an idea. No, more like a calling – a passion, really – to help organizations who need it through our solid skillsets and unique giftings. Jericho Consulting is about helping people for the right reasons, standing side-by-side with you to care about what you care about. To serve the people you serve. Sure, we must make money (as any good, successful business must), but greed does not govern our motivation to partner and work with you.

For years, we’ve called ourselves Paracletes, which is just a fancy Greek word meaning to come alongside as an advocate or counsel. We have been uniquely gifted with strengths and skills to help in areas that often seem complicated, overwhelming, or at times even impossible. That’s our specialty. We like challenges that force us to think “outside the box.”

Using our God-given skills, strengths, knowledge, industry trends & research, and vast experience (combined for over 40 years), Jericho Consulting wants to help you and your organization, agency, or company fortify your strengths, tear down the walls of fear and uncertainty, and grow your internal structures and processes to help you accomplish your goals.

Meet Katie Harrell

President & CEO

Katie Harrell serves as Jericho Consulting’s CEO and President. Katie is quickly approaching her second decade of pulling alongside non-profits to help them achieve their goals, think differently, and confidently help them communicate with their various constituencies. Her formal education in marketing and graphic design, coupled with her well over 10,000 hours of experience, equips her to manage the high-level brand, route to market, and organizational-wide strategic needs of various clients. Katie’s journey of working through the ranks of a marketing firm also furnishes a “rubber hits the road” tactical brilliance that guarantees the fulfillment of strategic and organizational plans.

Katie’s near-decade at Eclipse Marketing & Advertising, a full-service firm that specialized in helping not-for-profits, combined with her years of freelance work, provides her and her clients with expertise in philanthropy, branding, route-to-market strategic development, fundraising plans, printing, external and internal staff/leadership training, copywriting, thought leadership practices, graphic design, and media buying. In addition to her professional career, Katie raises three beautiful children (Esther, Adaline, and Judah) alongside her husband, Jake. In addition, she is active in the community, helping others outside of Jericho with her generous and hospitable giftings.

Katie’s authenticity and genuine care for others are evident in her family, marriage, and career. Her Christian worldview, experiences, and love for advancing not-for-profit organizations are a perfect leadership fit for Jericho Consulting and everyone we serve.

Katie’s passion, dedication, and desire to serve well are contagious; we are fortunate to be blessed with Katie leading Jericho.
